Bell & Ross: from a will, a pledge of quality

Bell & Ross is the joint project of instrument specialists and designers driven by the desire to create a utilitarian watch for professional use. Founded in 1992 by Carlos Rosillo and Bruno Belamich, the French company draws its inspiration from the odyssey of aviation. Committed to serving professionals in their tasks, Bell & Ross chooses to create robust and reliable instruments, ready to face all extreme conditions. Their watches are thus designed for and alongside those who wear them: pilots, divers, bomb disposal experts, astronauts...

A form dictated by function

Bell & Ross watches all sport a distinctive square design, a testament to a mentality stated by designer Sullivan a century earlier: 'form follows function'. Bell & Ross strives to eliminate the superfluous to focus solely on the primary function of the watch and thus lists four guiding principles: precision, reliability, functionality and readability. Mythical models stemming from these principles include the BR01-92, the BR 01-94 but also models that will quickly equip professionals. The Type Démineur released in 1996 will thus be supplied to the French Civil Security for mine clearance while the Hydro Challenge of 1997 will win the world record for water resistance. In 2003, Bell & Ross surprises by proposing the Mystery Diamond model: a diamond in weightlessness indicates the hours.
