La "Santos de Cartier" est l'une des collections de montres les plus emblématiques et historiques de Cartier. Cette collection a été créée en 1904 en l'honneur du célèbre aviateur brésilien Alberto Santos-Dumont, un ami proche du fondateur de Cartier, Louis Cartier. La montre "Santos" a été conçue spécialement pour Santos-Dumont, qui souhaitait un garde-temps pratique qu'il pourrait porter pendant ses vols en avion. Chaque montre "Santos de Cartier" est immédiatement reconnaissable grâce à son boîtier carré ou rectangulaire avec des coins arrondis, ainsi qu'à ses vis apparentes sur le cadran et le bracelet.
