The snake, Bulgari's iconic animal

Among Bulgari's imbolic collections, Serpenti holds a special place. In the Roman workshops of the luxury house, the snake indeed arrived as early as the 1940s, admittedly on a watch bracelet, which wrapped three times around the wrist. A symbol for Bulgari "of wisdom, rebirth and vitality," the reptile quickly found its place in jewelry, and still occupies it. Serpenti is thus fully part of the Bulgari heritage, with its bracelets fashioned with flexible Tubogas rings to replicate the undulation of the snake, its 18-karat gold rush bracelets with the snake's head set with diamonds, sapphires and malachite elements... Like the reptile's moults, the collection has metamorphosed with the years and trends, until it is embodied in ultra-contemporary creations combining glamour and daring style. Serpenti Viper's stylized scales, paved or semi-paved with diamonds and/or colored stones are the latest illustration. While the snake is indeed the totem animal of Bulgari, the House also celebrates the floral beauties of nature with Fiorever bracelets, a precious eight-petal icon with its center diamond. Different models come in white or rose gold, beaded, chain or multi-turn bracelets that perfectly reflect the luxury brand's jewelry expertise.

Roman inspirations in contemporary fashion

Born in Rome in 1884, Bulgari has always been inspired by the Eternal City, and many of the collections - and therefore bracelets - are directly related to the Italian capital. The double logo engraved in the manner of the ancient coins of the Bvlgari Bvlgari line can be found around the wrists of elegant women. Today it is revisited in various pieces, surrounded by multicolored hard stones, is even reversible when two colors come to adorn a single bracelet, onyx and malachite for example. Another Roman symbolism, fans inspired by the mosaics of the Baths of Caracalla are at the heart of the Diva's Dream collection, an "embodiment of Italian elegance that celebrates divas with mysterious and legendary allure." Solid or openwork, the fan is adorned with diamonds, but also with colored stones, another Bulgari signature: mother-of-pearl and malachite, turquoise, carnelian or an assortment of blue topaz, amethyst, citrine and peridot. Transformed into a pendant of a chain bracelet, the fan is still a talisman in motion. Rome again and again, monuments and their geometry have not failed to inspire Bulgari and this is especially true for the B.zero1 collection, whose circular lines are a direct tribute to the most famous of them all, the Colosseum. In the bracelets, the iconic spiral of the best-selling collection is exploited as a pendant adorning an 18-carat rose gold chain, just as it becomes a single-row bangle. Born in 1999, constantly revisited, B.zero1 is also a collection known for the association of gold with materials uncommon in jewelry, ceramics, but also marble or more recently cermet. This composite material consisting of a zirconia metal matrix and high-performance ceramic reinforcements is a true innovation in luxury jewelry, proving if need be how well Bulgari knows how to build the link between the past and the future.
