The timeless jewellery collection from the House of Chopard

With collections like Happy Hearts and Happy Diamonds, the House of Chopard clearly distinguishes its jewellery creations from all others. The brand's moving diamonds, first created in 1976 as part of a watch face, and its hearts set with precious stones represent Chopard's defining features and hallmarks. These pieces of jewellery also align with the values that the Swiss House wishes to express - joie de vivre, generosity and freedom of spirit.

A 100% ethical gold collection

Chopardissimo's 18-karat white and rose gold pieces of jewellery, whether paved or not with white diamonds, are designed to create understated elegance while still being full of meaning. One such significance is Chopard's commitment to sustainable luxury. So, behind every gold ring is the ethic of responsible sourcing. Chopard's gold comes exclusively from artisanal mining operations located in Peru and Colombia that have obtained Fairmined or Fairtrade certification, guaranteeing its traceability. Strict prohibition of child labour, requirements on working conditions and environmental protection are all part of what makes Chopard jewellery a byword for ethical luxury. Next comes the importance that the Swiss House places on artisanal traditions and expertise. Chopard has owned its own foundry since 1978, a rarity in the watch and jewellery making industry. Since pure gold is naturally overly malleable, it is here that gold foundry craftsmen create alloys with silver, leather and palladium to obtain 18-karat gold ingots (750/1000th), the basis for making jewellery as well as watches. The mix of components also gives the gold its colour, whether it's yellow, white or rose, as found in the Chopardissimo collection. The diamonds used in rings and wedding bands, pendants and Chopardissimo bracelets, band, chain and cord, are also certified according to the Kimberley process, which eliminates all purchases from conflict zones, and according to the guarantees of the Responsible Jewellery Council. To wear a piece of Chopardissimo jewellery is therefore to combine luxury with respect for people and the planet. It is to appreciate the beauty of a piece of jewellery as well as the distinct identity of an internationally renowned Swiss House where family spirit and a sense of tradition go hand-in-hand with a contemporary approach to jewellery. And, as already mentioned, there's a pleasure in wearing a piece of jewellery that you know has been fashioned by artisans at one of Chopard's three locations.
