A propos de Montblanc
Two factories, one goal
Montblanc relies on two manufactures to create exceptional timepieces: a guarantee of watchmaking precision, Swiss tradition and high standards. The Montblanc Center of Excellence in Locle combines tradition and technology to assemble and design the watches before they are subjected to the Montblanc Laboratory's 500-hour Test, which tests their precision and robustness. The second manufacturer is none other than Minerva, which has 160 years of experience and numerous patents to its credit. A specialist in precision watches, Minerva achieved international renown in the 20th century for its high-performance chronographs and professional watches. Located in Villeret, the manufacture is immersed in the heart of movement and innovation.
A watchmaking tradition reinvented
Montblanc's watchmaking tradition is a continuation of Minerva's expertise: the brand explores the technical universe of the manufacture through several collections. Montblanc revives the spirit of classic fine watchmaking by reinterpreting the iconic Star collection with the Star Legacy timepieces. The Montblanc 1858 collection is inspired by timepieces designed for mountaineers and soldiers: watches made for adventurers who walk the mountains. Finally, the TimeWalker collection pays homage to the golden age of the automobile and Minerva's great involvement in this evolution, emphasizing the sporty, high-performance aspect of a driver's watch.
