Tudor Pelagos: a refined professional dive watch

The Tudor Pelagos is one of the most powerful mechanical diving watches on the market. A tool watch par excellence, equipped with a Manufacture Tudor caliber and water resistant to 500 meters (50 bars), it meets the requirements of the most experienced professional divers. The Pelagos watch (for sea, in Greek) was launched by the Swiss watchmaker in 2012. To distinguish itself from other diving models, it features a titanium bracelet equipped with a folding clasp and a self-adjusting spring mechanism developed and patented by Tudor. This highly technical system automatically reduces or enlarges the strap according to water pressure. For further innovation, the brand has equipped the collection with a helium valve, making it particularly suitable for saturation diving. All Pelagos watches are also sold with an additional rubber strap.

Innovations at the cutting edge of technology

The Pelagos collection also features a sturdy and lightweight titanium case. The latter is equipped with a unidirectional rotating bezel fitted with a ceramic disc, on which rests a luminous index allowing perfect readability of information. For even greater legibility, Tudor engineers have equipped the Pelagos with the famous "Snowflake" hands with square tips. Pelagos watches are powered by the Manufacture Tudor MT5612 chronometer-certified caliber. This caliber guarantees a 70-hour power reserve. Due to the success of the collection, Tudor has recently launched the Pelagos Black series (with the characteristic black dial of the Black Bay watch family), as well as the Pelagos LHD, an exceptional diving watch equipped with a crown positioned at 9 o'clock. The collection also offers a left-handed version, the LHD, which features a left-handed watch stem.
