Chance of Love, and other universal symbols

When it comes to rings, the House of Mauboussin is usually associated with iconic designs, the first of which is the Chance of Love diamond solitaire. With its four-leaf clover motif, a central diamond and a pavement that anyone can choose the weight (and thus the price) of, Chance of Love represents not only jewelry-making expertise, but also the democratization of the luxury jewel. From the 2000s onwards, in fact, the Parisian brand bought by Swiss financier Dominique Frémont, and headed by Alain Nemarq, brought its collections into the zeitgeist and, above all, jewelry within the reach of a wider public. Mauboussin began creating several annual collections and offering gold and diamond jewelry sold new at prices ranging from €500 to €3000. This is the case for Chance of Love, and many others. While the four-leaf clover is the exclusive motif of the Chance of Love solitaire collection and its Grain de Love variation for everyday rings, Mauboussin is banking on other universal and timeless symbols. This is especially true of the four-pointed star, which is also the new symbol of the House. The original design of ""Une étoile is born"", the double crossed body and refinement of the ""A la croisée des étoiles"" ring, the wide ring adorned with the sparkling Mauboussin star in Etoile Divine diamonds are all examples of the jewelry interpretation of this symbol, with jewelry in 750/1000th rose, yellow or white gold. New prices then range from €495 for the Etoilement ring, with a silver band, to €2440 for Etoile Divine.

Mouth of Love, Capsules of Emotion, gold and fine stones

With the exception of rings like the Saint-Hilaire-de-la-Mer model, made of diamonds and Ceylon sapphire, Mauboussin democratizes the fine stone just as much. Again, the most telling examples are undoubtedly the Love Mouth ring and its amethyst and the Emotion Capsule series. The 750/1000th white, yellow or rose gold rings paved with six diamonds host meaningful central stones of 0.06 carats: orange sapphire for enthusiasm, pink for happiness, yellow for energy, purple for mystery, blue for harmony, green emerald for hope, red ruby for passion. The rings also lend themselves perfectly to the trend of the moment, stacking - or accumulation. Stone by Mauboussin also translates into more imposing models, like the 2-carat amethysts, topazes and citrines surrounded by diamonds in the Summer Sun Ring, or more refined ones. Duo d'Amour thus combines the elegance of an oval blue sapphire with the purity of a round diamond, on a gold ring paved with sapphires and diamonds. Accessible and in tune with the times, the Mauboussin rings are also intended to be emotional jewelry, which make sense and allow each woman to "capture the expression of her identity through the jewelry she will wear."
