Dune, the Poiray spirit and exceptional know-how

Of the Poiray bracelets, Dune is undoubtedly the most remarkable - and the most noticed. It reconciles the spirit of the Parisian House, its jewelry know-how, with the artisanal chasing of the pieces, its "trademark" too, which combines 18-karat gold and fine stones. For Dune, Aurélie Bidermann, jewelry designer and artistic director of Poiray since 2016, chose rhodolite garnet, a stone that eloquently expresses femininity with discreet charm. The stone, however, is not the heart of Dune. The bracelet is distinguished by its twisted pattern that recalls both the ropes of sailing ships and sand hills: in a bohemian spirit, Dune is an invitation to travel, like summer flavors to wear around the wrist. In white gold or 18-carat yellow gold chiseled by hand -which does not fail to reveal Poiray's exceptional know-how-, each Dune bracelet plays on elegance and charm, can be adorned with rhodolite garnet for a contemporary look, or diamond for a timeless air. Worn alone, in accumulation, matched with a ring or earrings, the bracelet enshrines the successful union of Aurélie Bidermann's creativity, and her modern conception of jewelry - and the positioning of the House of Poiray, breaking the codes of jewelry and imagining luxurious jewelry for all women.

Colored stones, a Poiray signature on bracelets

The consecration of fine stones alongside the four precious stones is another Poiray marker, brought to life by the artistic director in two other collections, released in 2017. Art Deco and its geometric patterns thus inspired Lolita, a line that offers a chain bracelet adorned with five tassels, and as many shapes and colors. With the godron setting as a common thread, another Poiray classic, the Lolita bracelet is adorned with two rhodolites, a blue London topaz, a smoky quartz and a moonstone, in a joyful and colorful round. A tad wiser, the L'Attrape-Coeur bracelet, incidentally born the same year, is worn like a talisman with its heart set with turquoise or pink opal. Poiray always reserves some daring surprises, however, the model has the particularity of being able to be worn on both sides, with one side uncluttered and a second where the heart is interlaced.

The heart and braid, iconic motifs

A Intertwined Heart, this is not unlike Poiray's signature motif for over twenty years! The iconic line is, of course, available in the form of bracelets, with its 18-karat yellow, rose or white gold forçat chain adorned with one or three intertwined hearts. Simple and chic, the interlaced heart bracelet celebrates all loves and reminds us that for Poiray, Parisian refinement is not ostensible. In the same spirit, that of the iconic motif adorning a forçat chain, the bracelet Tresse adorns the wrist with two intertwined strands of gold, inspired by turbans as made by early 20th century couturiers.
